The U.S. Department of Education has unveiled an updated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) curriculum aimed at preparing students for the future job market.
Key Features:
• AI and Robotics Modules: Starting in middle school.
• Green Energy Education: Focusing on sustainability and renewable energy.
• Coding as a Core Subject: Required from Grade 3 onward.
The program, set to roll out in the 2025-2026 academic year, has been praised for addressing the skills gap in emerging industries. Critics, however, call for more funding to ensure equitable access across all schools.
